Membership Information

Our society is structured so as to comply with the intentions with which it was founded: a society for research on the subjects of labor issues and other related matters. Applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a master’s course or higher, or have at least 7 years of work experience to qualify for membership. In order to become a member, one must apply to the board with the introduction of 2 current members, and receive board approval. Furthermore, current members over 70 years of age can become lifetime members by submitting a proposal to and receiving approval of the board (Regulation Number 8). Honorable members are nominated by the board and receive approval from the society as a whole (Regulation Number 9). In addition, international members may reside overseas (Regulation Number 10).
